Pushing the Envelope’s 8th Annual “Can It! Campaign” a Success

On Nov. 15, Pushing the Envelope, Inc. completed its 8th Annual CAN IT! Campaign to put hunger in its place in Southwest Florida. The campaign collected 2,016 non-perishable food items for Community Cooperative, Inc. (CCI), exceeding the 2,000-item goal. 

With the support of many community members and local businesses, Pushing the Envelope, Inc. collected more than 1,900 pounds of non-perishable food items. With the completion of this campaign, the CAN IT! Campaign has donated thousands of items amounting to more than 9,500 pounds of food to CCI since its inception in 2010.

The success of the CAN IT! Campaign was primarily due to area businesses who helped collect non-perishable items. The participating locations included:
