The ADDY Awards Competition is a three-tier national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation. The local competition, hosted by the Suncoast club, is the first tier. The ADDY Awards Competition is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence. A distinguished panel of advertising creative executives from outside the market judged local entries.
According to the American Advertising Federation, “A GOLD ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. Entries that are also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a SILVER ADDY.”
The Suncoast AdFed club, a local chapter of the association composed of advertising and media professionals, hosted the local ADDY Awards Competition. Proceeds from the ADDY Awards help support the club’s educational programs, public service projects and proactive government relations efforts.
