Marketing communications is the blending of strategic elements in branding, and virtually all marketing efforts, to develop a consistent message - a cohesive "look and feel".
Every consumer interaction is an opportunity to create a brand touchpoint, or chance to impress the company's brand. This includes all forms of direct and indirect communication such as Websites, ads, packaging, event sponsorships, etc. To properly brand a company or organization, it's critical that all brand touchpoints are cohesive and part of an overarching, strategic plan.
