PTE Wins Two Awards at State Public Relations Competition

FORT MYERS, Fla. – August 12, 2013 – Pushing the Envelope, Inc. (PTE), a local marketing communications firm was recently honored with an Award of Distinction and Judges’ Award at the Golden Image Awards Ceremony by the Florida Public Relations Association.

An Award of Distinction highlights an outstanding public relations program while a Judges’ Award signifies maximum client exposure was achieved through the public relations program for the least amount of money, and as part of the Golden Image Award program, it represents excellence on a statewide level.

The award was for a news release entitled Modern Day Mother’s Day, which garnered more than 1 million impressions internationally. It was created with Terri Davidson-Cabitt, an infertility-marketing specialist on behalf of Specialists in Reproductive Medicine & Surgery, founded and led by Reproductive Endocrinologist, Dr. Craig R. Sweet. The effort successfully exceeded project goals while utilizing a minimal budget.

The Golden Image Awards competition is conducted annually by the Florida Public Relations Association to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida and to encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism in the state.
